"I went to Dr. Barnett because I have been experiencing horrible adult acne for the past three months. I tried every product from drugstore topical treatments, expensive designer or name brand products, and was prescribed some antibiotics and a topical cream, but nothing was working. It had all been very stressful and I felt like I lost all my self-confidence and was desperate to try something that would work. I've gone to many dermatologists and am always unsatisfied, but Barnett Dermatology is truly amazing. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and made me feel calmer and more hopeful about my skin immediately. I did not have to wait to be seen at all, which is great because most doctor's offices will schedule your appointment for one time, and then make you wait forever to actually be seen! But right away the staff and Dr. Barnett got me into the examination room, and asked what I wanted in terms of treatment. Also a refreshing change to most doctors, who will often be so much less compassionate and willing to listen to their patients' preferences or opinions. I had an Isolaz treatment, and some acne surgery done, and the nurses that did both were kind, smart, and very careful and clearly knew what they were doing, and did an amazing job. They treated me like a person, rather than just a patient, and made me feel so comfortable and reassured. By the evening, only a few hours after my appointment, my skin already looked markedly better, and has been improving over the course of the last few days already. I bought a package for one Isolaz treatment a week for the next month, at a great price. Barnett Dermatology has restored my hope that I can get rid of my acne, and that to me, is the answer to my prayers. Thank you so much!"

"What a great experience! From the moment I came in, everyone put me right at ease, staff so friendly! Dr. Barnett listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions with warmth and knowledge. I never for a moment felt rushed, like I have at other doctors. My concerns were taken care of and even got a cosmetic procedure. I look amazing! Thank you Dr. Barnett!"

"Dr. Channing is incredibly talented at what she does.  I can talk to her and tell her anything I am looking to change - and she listens which is so important to me!  She doesn’t dismiss what I have to say taking my thoughts/feelings into account - she listens and we decide what she will do - together.  I am so pleased with her work that I insisted my mother come and see her, too.  My mother is now also one of her biggest fans.  Dr. Channing is unbelievably positive, incredibly kind and always compassionate.  She is with out a doubt my favorite doctor."

"For the past few years I toyed with the idea of getting botox. My skin was looking tired and the wrinkles at the corners of my eyes had deepened. I am uncomfortable with needles and putting anything foreign into my body so I put it off. Recently, after the birth of my second child, I avoided looking closely at my aging skin in the mirror. After people kept telling me I looked 'tired' I began my research which brought me to Barnett Dermatology. After a thorough consultation I was given a Silk scrub which made my dried skin look and feel soft instantly. Dr. Barnett then carefully applied botox. It was surprisingly pain free. A week later I cannot begin to express how great my skin looks. I look ten years younger, I feel beautiful and I want to look in the mirror. I am so happy that I took the time to take care of myself and I believe that the great results are due to the careful care of Dr. Barnett. She took the time to patiently address my concerns and talked me through the process. I wish I had done this years ago. I believe that the success of any health or beauty regimen depends on the quality doctor and care received. I highly recommend Dr. Barnett to anyone who wants to improve their appearance and feel good about the process."

"I've been struggling with acne scars for most of my adult life and wish that I could have discovered your office, specifically Dr. Channing Barnett, and this treatment, long ago when I started my journey in trying to improve the way my scars looked. I would have saved thousands and thousands of dollars. I absolutely love the results of the silicone that I received on March 15th, 2010 and what it has done to get RID of my scarring. I will not hesitate to come back, should I feel I need one more treatment or for any other procedure that I might need in the future. The doctors in my area of D.C. are just not quite up to par with what this office has to offer its patients, which is why I have no problem traveling to New York City to see Dr. Channing Barnett. It was worth every penny. She is kind, understanding, patient and very knowledgeable on the subject of silicone. You will feel that you are in good hands. Along with the rest of the staff, who were so friendly, they make you feel right at home. I finally got my self-confidence back! I'm definitely going to try to make it back in the summer for my lips to be done!"
